I had one my second year of college who played the same piano riff on her keyboard, day and night, until I finally asked her to stop playing it at two in the morning, and she did. I’ve lived through all kinds of loud next-door neighbors. It also starts with a drum of sorts and a stringed instrument, and the Pure Moods song straight up started with vocals on top of whatever instruments might've also been playing.Īll that being said, I'm glad I haven't been alone in all this.Pure Moods lives next door to me. Looking at track 11 on that list, "The Mission", we are definitely closer in song length comparison (2:49) buuuut, it still doesn't feature the same build and progression as the song from Pure Moods- as well as lacking the "ch-ch-ch" sound about 30 seconds in. To boot, if you look up the backside of the Pure Moods Disc, it says the song used was for their compilation was "2:51" in length, so it can't be "On Earth as it is in Heaven" (3:51) in length. Not only that, the vocals are somewhat different as are how the "drums at 00:50 ish build" (they have too much woodwind of some sort playing over them). The song "On Earth as it is in Heaven" for instance, features at the very beginning a clanging of sorts, which definitely wasn't on Pure Moods. This was the part that was missing on all the playlists' versions that gave away to me at least, that the correct song typically isn't included. While both of the songs that come close do feature the same theme(?) that is played throughout the song from Pure Moods, both are missing the distinctive "ch-ch-ch" sound about 00:26 into the song, just as the first vocal part ends. If you go by the Playlist on Youtube by Isaias Nunez / SoccerKozi93 (which appears complete, I could be wrong) then the song from Pure Moods just isn't even there. The song from Pure Moods not being either of those songs "from the soundtrack" has definitely made looking for it confusing. Yeah, it's definitely been a head scratcher for me.
